Our Story
From a Single Land Cruiser to a Fleet of Sixteen
BarsTravel started in 2018 with one Toyota Land Cruiser 200 and a handful of routes scouted on weekends off the map. What began as a small operation for friends and word-of-mouth travelers has grown into a dedicated team of off-road drivers, mountain guides, and hospitality specialists — all united by the same conviction: Kazakhstan deserves to be experienced properly, not rushed through on a tour bus.
Every route in our catalog has been driven, timed, and refined long before it's offered to a guest. We work in small groups and private departures only, because the landscapes we visit — Charyn Canyon, the Kolsai and Kaindy Lakes, Altyn Emel, Big Almaty Lake, and the Assy Plateau — deserve unhurried attention, not a packed itinerary.
